Candidates interested in trying their chance for admission to the existing vacancies in various disciplines of Post Graduate Diploma programmes of Design are requested to intimate their interest by filling up the given format of application and emailing it back to firstname.lastname@example.org. Interested candidates should reach the campus by 9.30 AM on Wednesday,8th August,2018 with relevant documents/certificates including original cast and community documents/certificates and a bank DD for Rs750/- favouring Executive Director, KSID towards the cost of application form.
Currently a few vacancies exist in IT Integrated Communication Design (IICD) and Integrated Textile & Apparel Design (ITAD). Applications are invited for admission to the following postgraduate diploma programs in Design.

Candidates interested in applying for any of the Post graduate programmes in Design can apply using the online application form.
a.Fill in the online application form
b.Please indicate all three centres of your choice for entrance examination as per your priority(Centres are liable to be cancelled if the number of applications choosing that centre falls below a minimal number.Candidates who have applied for a centre that gets cancelled will be allotted the second choice. And in case the second choice also gets cancelled they will be allotted to the third choice of centre as per information given in the application form.
c.Please indicate all three programs of your choice as per your priority.
d.Upload your Passport photograph and cast category certificate for reserved seats.
e.Pay fees by bank Draft for the required amount and upload a scanned copy of the Bank draft.
e.To pay fees online using SBI collect click on the Application fee and payment link. Upload transaction receipt and enter transaction number.
f.Last date for receipt of application fees in the form of Demand Draft/SBI Collect-4th April - 04/04/2018
a. The candidates should have minimum 55% Marks in any Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Institution
b. Upper age limit is 40 years
c. Candidates who have appeared/are appearing for the final semester examination can also apply, with their last available score aggregates.
d. Any professional experience in relevant fields will be an added advantage.
While admission is based on the test/examination/interview conducted by KSID, the mandatory reservation principle as defined by Government of Kerala and as modified from time to time are applicable.
The break-up of seats at KSID for each course as per mandatory reservation is as follows:
(A) Open Merit - 6
(B) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) - 3
(C) Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes - 1
For admission to a seat reserved for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Class, copy a certificate from an approved district authority stating the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class to which the candidate belongs, should be submitted with the application.
In case eligible candidates are not found in any reserved category, the vacant seats will be filled up from open merit list.

Annual Tuition Fee for Overseas Students:
For the students from SAARC countries, African countries, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam: US$ 5,000. For the rest of foreign students other than those mentioned above: US$ 12000.
