In the series of events titled ‘Introduction to Indian Culture’, KSID hosted the latest installment called ‘Chenda’ where renowned chenda artiste Shri. Kalabharathy Rajeev took a session on the basics of the traditional musical instrument. The session covered the basics of the art including the history of chenda, construction and technology behind the instrument, introduction to various musical styles and awe-inspiring performances by Shri. Kalabharathy Rajeev and his team.
