Nikon Corporation one of world’s largest manufacturer of optical products, camera and photography accessories conducted a digital photography workshop at Kerala State Institute ofDesign (KSID), at its campus in Chandanathope P.O, Kollam-691014 on Saturday, 23rd September, 2017. The workshop on ‘Essentials of Photography’ was attended by KSID students and selected photo enthusiasts from nearby colleges including TKM College of Engineering, TKM College of Architechture, Medical College and Engineering College Sasthamkotta. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri P T Girish, Executive Director of KSID and coordinated by Shri Lijin C Jacob, Technical Assistant, Communication Design Department of KSID, Miss Honey James and Shri Jithin K Paulose, Students of KSID. The team of resource persons from Nikon included Shri V. Issac Sam (Nikon Mentor), Shri Sanish Kumar, Sales Executive (South Kerala) and Nibin A B (Team Leader). The event was a collaboration between Nikon and School of Interactive Communication , the department which is offering Post Graduate programme in IT Integrated Communication Design(IICD).
