Enduring teaching methods  of NID , Maya Sara Mathew have handled 2 weeks module on Introductory sessions of Costumes and Textiles  of India and the World.  Geared  towards  encouraging  the  appreciation of Traditional Textiles of India , the Textile and  Apparel Design have welcomed  Maya Sara Mathew , freelance Textile Designer.  Interactive and workshop lead  lengthy sessions have paved way to understand the importance and structure of each textiles , its visibility and new opportunities  to  young design aspirants seeking to find relevance in today’s tough –to –navigate world.

 The qualitative hands-on-entangling threads in rising creativity and field visits developed an inner confidence and approach towards designing . Visit to the textile bay of authentic  display of real life traders  and textiles from the home comings of art history had uncovered more about the uniqueness of patterns and craftsmanship.
